Handcrafted unique and original designs influenced by the ancient cultures of the Silk Road trade routes.

Jewellery Designer based in Sydney Australia

Curvilinear lines are organic flowing informal lines like those found in nature and the feminine form.

Innate beauty in every woman is distinctive to the individual, no matter age race or shape. Wearing jewellery is a playful, joyful embellishment of the individual and a signifier for the important times in life.

As a maker, seeing ideas realized into beautiful objects gives me the kind of pleasure I intend the wearing of my work to inspire in others. l love the collaboration of ideas in working on commissions and the significance a piece can have in reflecting special moments for the wearer to connect to.

Design ideas for me are generally spontaneous, where in sketching a theme, many variations become evident. My design aesthetic is based in ancient cultures and streamlined for the modern world. The look and feel of materials can be a great starting point for creating a piece.

I am drawn to combining precious and non-precious materials, metals and stones, as each has unique qualities to bring. I've worked with stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, brass, copper, bronze, silver and gold. Contrasting the rich buttery colour of gold with other metals and stones is interesting and can be a great way to cost effectiveness. As an example, I use aluminium, anodized black, in the black serpentine armrings with 22ct gold detailing.
